The only word to describe how busy we've been since the Summer Issue launch is... hectic! But in the best way possible. Not only have we gained more of you gorgeous readers but we have been able to branch out to some amazing brands and collaborate with some extraordinary people. So, let me give you the low down on whats been happening at Femme Head Quarters since June.
We released our Summer Issue on Friday 31st May in Wild & Westbrooke, York, and continued to send our stunning issue out to all you lovely lot. I personally sent out more ordered issues than I ever had this Summer and that's more than the very first issue received! Since then we now have a new stockist, Drewtons on the Drewtons Estate, a beautiful farm shop and restaurant in South Cave so if you ever get a minute head down and see what they have to offer, you won't be disappointed. Of course, I cannot fault Laura, Tanya and Ollie down at Wild & Westbrooke who continue to support the magazine and will always be our first and foremost favourite shop in York! You have to under my orders head down to them on Lendal Street and see their stock! I always try and prevent my myself from buying anything but fail instantly the clothes they sell are just irresistible.
So onto the Autumn Issue, which is so far my favourite one! Having put myself on the front cover, I've felt so much more connected to the issue and to my magazine than ever before and I can completely say hand on heart this season of Femme is not to be missed. With fashion look-books, country montages, desirable clothes and even an exclusive interview with former Creative Director of Mulberry, Scott Henshall I can guarantee a good read. I've been working on this issue before the Summer one even came out and myself and my writers have been so slick with the words and photos. I would especially like to commend Charlotte Brown (thatmardyyorkshirelass) on her incredible boot look-book for this Autumn, her writing never fails to disappoint myself or our readers and long may she continue to write for us!
On Thursday 3rd October, Femme will be having its first launch for one of our mags and I'm glad it will be for the Autumn Issue. We are collaborating with Scott Henshall and Fancy Hanks for our launch and hope it will be a good night, I will be posting pics as soon as possible from it keep on the look out for them!
